The Executioner is a terracotta sculpture by the celebrated Florentine Renaissance artist Andrea del Verrocchio, teacher of da Vinci, Perugino and perhaps Botticelli. It was discovered in Portobello Road market for £50 and acquired through Nicholas Hall by a private collection.
